How It Works for Your Projects

Music Generated for Your Project
Describe what the music is for and how it should feel, such as "calm menu music for a puzzle game, soft marimba", and AIMusic generates a track.

Rights Depend on Your Plan
Tracks created on a paid plan include commercial use rights, so you can use them in projects you sell or publish commercially. Free-plan tracks are for personal use.

Any Genre or Mood
Ambient, cinematic, chiptune, lo-fi, corporate, orchestral and more. Name two or three instruments to shape the sound.

A Complete Example
Turn on Instrumental and write: "cinematic music for a game trailer, big drums, low strings, rising tension". Generate, listen, then change one word, such as "rising" to "dark", and generate again to compare.

Vocals or Instrumental
Keep Instrumental off for a theme song, or turn on Instrumental for background music under dialogue or gameplay.

Copyright-Free Music Generator FAQ
What is a copyright-free music generator?
It is a tool that creates new music from your description, so you do not have to license an existing track. On AIMusic, the rights you get depend on your plan.
Is the music copyright-free?
We describe it by the rights you get rather than a "copyright-free" label: tracks created on a paid plan include commercial use rights, annual plans include a PDF license certificate, and Free-plan tracks do not include commercial rights.
Can I use the music in a game or app I sell?
Yes, if you create the tracks while you have an active paid plan; those include commercial use rights.
Is it free?
You can try it on this page without an account. A free account gets 15 credits a day, about 3 tracks at 5 credits each, refreshed at 00:00 UTC. Free-plan tracks are for personal use; commercial rights, library downloads and private tracks come with the paid plans.
Can I download the music?
Downloading from your library comes with the paid plans: MP3 on Pro and Ultra, and WAV on Ultra. Public song pages also offer an MP3 download to anyone.
Can I use the music commercially?
Tracks created while you have an active paid plan can be used commercially, including after you cancel. Annual plans also include a PDF license certificate. Tracks made on the Free plan do not include commercial rights.
Will it copy an existing song?
You describe the music in your own words. Requests that name real artists or include copyrighted lyrics are blocked, so describe the sound instead of naming a song or artist.
Can I get music without vocals?
Yes. Turn on Instrumental before you generate.
What genres can I make?
Any genre you can describe, from ambient and lo-fi to orchestral, chiptune and rock. Mixing genres works too.
Do I need to install anything?
No. AIMusic runs in the browser on desktop and phone.
