AI Song Maker: Turn Your Lyrics or an Idea into a Song

AIMusic's song maker writes the music and sings it. You give it a short description or your own lyrics and a style, and it returns a finished track.

What the AI Song Maker Does

  • A Full Song from a One-Line Idea

    A Full Song from a One-Line Idea

Describe the song you want, such as "an upbeat pop song about moving to a new city", and the song maker writes the lyrics and the music together. This is Simple mode, and it is the simplest way to start.

  • Your Own Lyrics, Set to Music

Your Own Lyrics, Set to Music

Switch to Custom mode, paste lyrics you wrote, add a style and a title, and the song maker sings your words. Short lines and a repeated chorus are easier to sing than long lines.

  • Vocals or Instrumental

    Vocals or Instrumental

Songs are sung with AI vocals by default. Turn on Instrumental for a track with no vocals, such as background music for a video.

  • A Complete Example

    A Complete Example

In Custom mode, set the style to "acoustic folk, warm female vocal, fingerpicked guitar, slow", enter the title "Paper Boats", and paste lyrics with two short verses and a four-line chorus. Generate, listen, then change one thing, such as "slow" to "mid-tempo", and generate again to compare.

  • Pick the Genre, Mood and Instruments

Pick the Genre, Mood and Instruments

Name the genre, tempo, mood and lead instruments in the style. Mixing genres works too, such as "reggaeton beat with a mariachi trumpet hook". Requests that name real artists are blocked, so describe the sound instead.

Try It Here, Keep It in Your Library

You can make a song in the box on this page without signing up; songs made here play on the page but are not saved to an account. To keep songs in your library and get 15 free credits a day, sign in and use the full generator.

How to Make a Song with the AI Song Maker

  • Step 1: Write an Idea or Paste Lyrics

Type a one-line description of the song (what it is about, the genre and the mood), or switch to Custom mode and paste your own lyrics with a title.

  • Step 2: Set the Style

In Custom mode, fill in the style field, such as "90s R&B, slow, smooth male vocal"; in Simple mode, put those details in your description. Turn on Instrumental if you only want music.

  • Step 3: Generate and Listen

Click Generate and listen to the result. If it is close but not right, change one detail at a time. To keep songs, sign in and use the full generator; downloading from your library comes with the paid plans.

Who Uses the AI Song Maker

  • Songwriters

Hear a draft of your lyrics as a full song and compare a few styles before you record anything.

  • Video Creators and Podcasters

Make a theme, intro or background track that fits your content, with or without vocals. Songs made on a paid plan come with commercial use rights.

  • Beginners

You do not need to play an instrument or know music theory. A clear description of the genre and mood is enough to get a song.

  • People Making a Gift

Write a few lines about a birthday or a friend and turn them into a song you can share as a link.

AI Song Maker FAQ

  • Is the AI song maker free?

You can try it on this page without an account. A free account gets 15 credits a day, about 3 songs at 5 credits each, refreshed at 00:00 UTC. Paid plans add more credits, private songs, library downloads and commercial use.

  • Can I use my own lyrics?

Yes. In Custom mode, paste your lyrics, add a style and a title, and the song maker sings them. If you need words first, the free lyrics generator writes two versions from a theme.

  • What genres can I make?

Any genre or mix you can describe: pop, rock, hip hop, R&B, country, EDM, folk, classical, lo-fi and more. Describe the sound rather than naming an artist; requests that name real artists are blocked.

  • Can I download the songs I make?

Downloading from your library comes with the paid plans: MP3 on Pro and Ultra, and WAV on Ultra. Public song pages also offer an MP3 download to anyone. Songs made in the box on this page are not saved to a library.

  • Can I use the songs commercially?

Songs created while you have an active paid plan can be used commercially, and annual plans include a PDF license certificate. Songs made on the Free plan do not include commercial rights.

  • Do I need to sign up?

Not to try it on this page. To save songs to a library and use daily credits, sign in with Google or email; signing up is free. Free songs stay in your library for 7 days, and paid plans keep them indefinitely.
