What the Text to Music AI Does

Music from a Written Description
Write one or two sentences about the music, such as "warm bossa nova with nylon guitar and soft brushed drums, relaxed evening mood", and the AI creates a track that follows it. If you do not add lyrics, it writes them too.

Text to Song or Text to Instrumental
Leave Instrumental off and the result is a song with AI vocals; turn it on and the same prompt becomes music with no vocals, for videos, podcasts or games.

Prompts Work Best When They Are Specific
Compare "sad song" with "slow piano ballad, sparse arrangement, melancholic, gentle male vocal". The second names the genre, tempo, instruments, mood and voice, so the result is closer to what you imagined.

Four Things to Put in a Prompt
Genre (indie rock, lo-fi, cinematic), mood (uplifting, tense, dreamy), instruments (synth bass, strings, acoustic guitar) and tempo (slow, mid-tempo, fast). Add a topic if you want vocals, such as "about a long drive at night".

Mix Genres in One Line
Text prompts can combine styles that rarely meet, such as "jazz hip hop with a vinyl crackle" or "folk melody over a trap beat". Describe the sound rather than naming an artist; requests that name real artists are blocked.

Text to Music AI FAQ
Can AI generate music from text?
Yes. You describe the music in words and the AI creates a track that follows the description: genre, mood, instruments, tempo and, if you want vocals, what the song is about.
What should I write in a text to music prompt?
The genre, the mood, two or three instruments and the tempo, plus a topic if you want vocals. For example: "upbeat funk, slap bass and horns, fast, about a Friday night".
What is the difference between text to music and text to song?
Text to song gives you a track with vocals and lyrics; text to music can also mean an instrumental. Here it is one switch: leave Instrumental off for a song, turn it on for music without vocals.
Is text to music AI free?
You can try it on this page without an account. A free account gets 15 credits a day, about 3 tracks at 5 credits each, refreshed at 00:00 UTC. Paid plans add more credits, private tracks, library downloads and commercial use.
Do I need to sign up?
Not to try it on this page. To save tracks to a library and use daily credits, sign in with Google or email; signing up is free.
Can I use my own lyrics instead of a description?
Yes. Switch to Custom mode, paste your lyrics, and add a style and a title.
Does it make songs with vocals?
Yes, songs are sung with AI vocals by default. Turn on Instrumental for music without vocals.
Can I download the music?
Downloading from your library comes with the paid plans: MP3 on Pro and Ultra, and WAV on Ultra. Public song pages also offer an MP3 download to anyone.
Can I use the music commercially?
Music created while you have an active paid plan can be used commercially, and annual plans include a PDF license certificate. Music made on the Free plan does not include commercial rights.
Why did my prompt get rejected?
Prompts that name real artists or producers, or include copyrighted lyrics, are blocked. Describe the sound instead, for example "raspy soul vocals with a horn section".
